Hermione by Ninidu Hermione by Ninidu
..not that Hermione!!

According to Greek mythology, Hermione was the daughter of King Menelaus of Sparta and of Helen of Troy
She was betrothed to Orestes, son of Agamemnon, only to be later married to Achilles' son Neoptolemus.
After Neoptolemus was murdered, Hermione got to marry Orestes with whom she was in love in the first place

Couldn't resist the temptation to use Emma Watson as a reference.. :)

She looks so beautiful! I wondered, because it didn't quite look like that Hermione, as the hair is too light and the dress different, but then again I thought it did look a bit like Emma Waston! Haha so now I know why :) I didn't know about this Hermione, that she was Helen of Troy's daughter. She has a sad story, although I suppose it becomes happier at the end, at a pretty high price, though.

Πολύ καλή, δεν λέω, αλλά ως γαμπρός, θα προτιμούσα ίσως την Eva, ως reference...

When I was little I got super into all these religious story's and epic myths and I read a book called "A Fair Wind for Troy" about the Trojan War. I always felt sorry for Hermione because Helen's reason for abandoning her (in that book, at least, I have yet to read the Iliad) was that pregnancy made her feel fat and ugly. I just felt so bad because I started thinking about how unwanted she must have felt.
